IOEC President Dimitri Stasiulis held a number of meetings at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Vladimir Platonov, President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), discussed joint plans of the IOEC and MCCI in West Africa. The parties planned to hold an extended meeting of the heads of the organisations and negotiations on the interface of cooperation, as well as opportunities to promote the interests of ICCI members through IOEC representative offices in Algeria, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and Senegal.

Dmitry Stasiulis met with the President of the Chamber for Economic and Cultural Cooperation between Romania and Russia Feodor Afanasov. Tomorrow will be held the signing of an agreement between the MOEC and the CCECRR on cooperation, including in the framework of the World Forum "New Era - New Ways".

The meeting with Louis Gowden, President of the Cameroon Diaspora in Russia, was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The participants agreed to mutually promote the interests of Russian and African companies. Dmitry Stasiulis invited Louis Gowden to speak at the IOEC session on Africa at the BRICS+ Municipal Forum in August 2024 in Moscow.
